INTRODUCTION
Lead around and back, with crossed hand hold, partners turning towards each other with hands still held to return. 16 bars
BODY
1 Sides: With the same hold, top couples and their 2nd corner couples exchange places, dancing the sidestep (2 bars) and 2x3s in place (2 bars) and repeat the movement back to place (4 bars). Top couples now dance the movement with their 1st corner couples (8 bars).(NOTE : the rule when sidestepping is always - move LEFT IN FRONT and RIGHT BEHIND the other couple.) 16 bars
2 Right and left stars: Ladies take R hands in the centre and wheel around (4 bars), turn inwards to take L hands and wheel back to place (4 bars). Keeping L hands held, they take their partners' R hand in R and all lead around ( 6 bars) and turn once R hand in place (2 bars) 16 bars
The whole movement is now danced with the gents leading. 16 bars
3 Return chain: Partners face each other, R hand in R, and chain around to meet R hand in the opposite place and half turn to face back the way they came (8 bars). All chain back to meet their partners at home and half turn in place (8 bars). 16 bars
4 Back to back: keeping R hands held, top couples and their 2nd corner couples dance together to finish with the gents back-to-back and holding their partner's R hand in R and the corner lady's L hand in L, the ladies facing each other, and all dance 2 steps in place (4 bars).  All drop R hands and gents turn the corner ladies L hand then, passing each other R to R, turn their partners R hand in place (4 bars). 8 bars
First Figure - Advance and Retire
1 Top couples:
Advance and retire twice, with crossed hand hold.
8 bars
House around each other, keeping the same hold. 8 bars
2 Side couples now dance 1. 16 bars
BODY 72 bars
Second Figure - Ladies Chain
1 Top couples:
Ladies chain R hands in the centre and L to the opposite gent (2 bars), turn him in place (2 bars) and dance back (2 bars) to turn their partners R hand in place (2 bars).
8 bars
House around each other. 8 bars
2 Side couples now dance 1 16 bars
BODY 72 bars
FINISH
Lead around and back, with crossed hand hold, partners turning towards each other with hands still held to return. 16 bars
